SATS / Exam Preparation Journal

We are in the process of putting together our next programme to support young people faced with the pressures and stress that a testing culture brings.

It is advised that Mark or Stuart plan the session alongside a school leader in order that the school's needs are met.

Full-Day Workshop - £600

March 15, 2017

What if there were an approach which could improve pupil and staff well-being whilst raising academic standards?

This whole-school course will support you to develop a whole-school approach to mindfulness skills and how these can support young people to deepen their thinking and writing.

The day itself will be full of practical, fun activities and a chance for all colleagues to consider how these activities could be applied in their own classroom. Some activities will model the impact of our reflective writing journal and its accompanying meditations.

You will then be invited to consider your next steps in terms of embedding the ideas shared into the school's culture and ethos, which may include developing Mindfulness and Well-being Champions, increasing the role of pupil voice and leadership, or supporting school leaders to track the impact on academic standards.

Should the school request it, Stuart and Mark can support this embedding process.
